Back on track.... Wedding.... rehearsal, getting ready, and cermony

I'm back after being down for awhile. My plan was to write about our wedding day and then on Lydia's birthday post her birth story. BUT due to being constantly sick for the last few weeks I haven't been able to do anything.
However, after weeks of being sick, 2 E.R. visits, numerous re hydration ivs, a 28 lb weight loss, and passing the 12 week point, I think I am on the up swing!! I'm up, showered, and haven't gotten sick in two days! I call that success!
So, lets get back on track and write about our wedding day!

We, (mostly I) decided that a beach wedding would be best for us. We both love being outside, October is (usually) beautiful weather in Florida, and we had to fit a ton of people in one place. We chose 10-10-10 pretty much right after we got engaged. He thought it would be cool and I knew it would be difficult to find a venue for such a popular date. After all it was February when we got engaged. My mom came up with a brilliant idea to rent a beach house for a week. It would in the end be the same amount for one night at a venue then it was for a week at the beach house! We, after looking through what seemed like MILLIONS of houses, found one on Treasure Island! It was perfect!! Just big enough and beautiful!

The date was set, the venue was found, guests were invited, bouquets were made, and this bride was BEYOND ready!!

My mom and I packed the car and went over the Wednesday before the wedding to stay at the beach house and get everything ready. This was such a blessing because it meant I could start decorating and not freak out if it all wasnt done right away. It was a nice way to relax before the wedding too. Those few days with my mom were beautiful. We got to hang out and just be. The days went too fast which only meant my wedding day was that much closer! We had the rehearsal dinner Saturday. The house was packed with our families!

Michelle so graciously stepped up to the plate to be my wedding coordinator! She was renamed the "wedding nazi" :D She was AMAZING!!

My girls in our shirts

I made us all shirts that had our favorite numbers and our titles on the back!
Sunday was the big day! It was such beautiful weather and SUPER relaxing. Everyone kept asking me if I was okay and how I was feeling. I was so relaxed the whole day. I even stayed in my PJ's until I got into my dress. I'm serious when I say I was relaxed! The girls arrived and we started the process of getting hair done. I loved getting to spend the day with my girls! They are all so wonderfully amazing and helped me out so much during the whole process! Mentally and physically! My mom was in the kitchen with Nana. They were busy cooking. Yeah, my mom and Nana cooked all the food for the wedding. My mom really wanted to be the one cooking the food for my wedding but I dont think any of us realized how much of a task it would be. She did wonderfully and the food was no less then amazing!! Thanks again mama!!

We were all ready to go. We got loaded into the car.... and then I got nervous! HOLY CRAP! I'm getting married. The last two pictures above are me airing our my armpits (HA!) and taking a deep breath before I got out of the car!

It was sunset, time to walk down the isle to my future. I was walking down to start my life with an amazing man, to meet my best friend. I couldn't wait! The plan was for us to walk down a boardwalk to the actual beach. My brother walked me down the boardwalk to meet my dad where he took over and gave me away. It was perfect!

The guys went down first. They walked down to Somewhere Over the Rainbow-  Israel Iz Kamakawiwoʻole.

Then it was the girls turn. They walked down to an instrumental version of Taylor Swift's Love Story.

Hillary wasnt upset! LOL Sorry Hill this whole uploading process is more tedious then I thought it would be and this is the picture that was in order!

Then it was my turn! AHH!! I walked down to Kisses and Cake - John Powell from P.S. I love you!

This is when I said, "HOLY CRAP! There are a lot of people here!"

It was a beautiful ceremony! My husband cried through the whole thing to the point where I had to tell him to stop cause everyone was going to think he was upset!  :D

I got to marry my best friend, on the beach, with everyone we love around us. I would say I'm a pretty lucky gal! :D
